Terms & Condition

Please read through all the below as by purchasing any of our products you thereby are agreeing to all our Terms and Conditions.

DELIVERY

Grazing Boxes and Platters are delivered every Thursday, Friday and Saturday within Edinburgh and Central Fife between 9 and 4pm for a £5 flat rate. Brunch boxes are delivered until midday.

If you are outside of out delivery zone, please drop us an email and we will do our best to help you.

For larger orders/event requests we can travel further. Please enquire via email.

We are unable to provide a delivery window for the orders. 

Our delivery driver will attempt delivery at the address provided. Please ensure the correct address and contact number has been entered. If no one answers the door the courier will call the number provided. Delivery will then be attempted with a neighbour. Failing that, delivery will be left in a safe space outside. Alba Platter is not responsible for the product once left in a safe place or with the neighbour.


ORDERS

Bookings


Orders must be placed by Wednesday 6 pm for Weekend Boxes (Thu- Sat) 

If you have any urgent last-minute order, please get in touch via email hello@albaplatter.comand we will see what we can do to accommodate you.

Boxes, if refrigerated, will last 2-3 days. 

Foliage or/and blooms can be added to your order as well as biodegradable cutlery, plates, napkins and tongs.

Returns

Alba Platter does not accept returns of any products due to all items being perishable. If any item received is incorrect, please contact us within a 5-hourperiod of receiving the product so we can make adequate arrangements to replace or refund you.

Cancellations and order changes

Customers can cancel orders within 3-hour period after placing the order. We are not able to process cancelations beyond that time.

For any order changes such as a date, we can do this just contact us via email. If there are any other issues, please feel free to contact us.

Any larger/bespoke orders that need to be cancelled two months or more before the event will receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any refunds if you inform us of a cancellation within the two months of the chosen date. However, we may be able to offer a date change.

FOOD

Produce

A lot of our produce is seasonal and sourced weekly therefore, there may be slight changes in the menu from week to week. If anything is ever unavailable, we will always substitute or use more of a certain product to compensate. 

Food handling

When any of our products are received please keep chilled and consume within 2 days. It is the responsibility of the customer to dispose of food if kept unrefrigerated beyond 4 hours, to comply with UK food standards. By agreeing to these terms and conditions the customer is agreeing to dispose of any food after this period. Alba Platter will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions to our food consumed after this time.

Allergies

Please let us know of any allergies on your booking form and we will do our best to accommodate however, we always advise our customers that we cannot guarantee that specific items have not come into contact with such allergens as there is a high risk of cross contamination.
